At first, parents at PTA meeting were declared domestic terrorists, now they're declaring Christians domestic terrorists.

Well, WE THE PEOPLE need to declare the DOJ and the FBI as domestic terrorists!!!

DAVID BOSSIE: Dems Changed The Rulebook For Congressional Oversight. Now, Republicans Must Use It Against Them

House Oversight Committee Examines Free Speech In Social Media

DAVID BOSSIE PRESIDENT, CITIZENS UNITED
February 17, 2023 2:26 PM ET

During the previous Congress, the Democrat-controlled January 6 Select Committee ended decades of precedent and changed the rules when it comes to congressional oversight. Unfortunately for the Biden Administration, those newly-minted changes still apply now that Republicans are in control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

As the old saying goes, the toothpaste can’t be put back in the tube; the decision was made to break the system in order to make it easier to go after former President Donald Trump and Democrats must now live with it. New GOP Committee Chairs must be just as aggressive and utilize the new rules set by the J6 panel in their quest for answers from the least transparent administration in the history of our republic. (RELATED: JARED WHITLEY: Term Limits Aren’t All They’re Cracked Up To Be)

For two years, the Biden White House answered to no one — partisan hacks Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were only interested in spending trillions upon trillions in taxpayer dollars, not questioning anything President Joe Biden and his cronies were up to. And it almost goes without saying at this point that their allies in the biased mainstream media would rather beat fake anti-Trump narratives to death than investigate Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris.

Going forward, Congressmen Jim Jordan, James Comer and anyone else holding a gavel should focus on running their own independent investigations. There’s no need to go hat in hand to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Committees shouldn’t wait for DOJ to reject a document request or hide behind tried and tested excuses like “sorry, it’s an ongoing investigation so we can’t help you,” because those are dilatory tactics designed to obstruct congressional investigations. Instead, go straight to the source of the records being sought and get them yourself.

Subpoena the banks, subpoena the telecommunications companies, subpoena Big Tech and subpoena all the business associates. On the heels of the January 6 Committee, it’s literally impossible to issue too many subpoenas.

Everyone knows the Justice Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden is going nowhere. That’s the reason there was no special counsel appointed for the case despite the obvious need for one – so the Biden White House through the president’s hand-picked Attorney General Merrick Garland could control what happens.

The new rules of the game, thanks to Pelosi, Congressman Bennie Thompson and former Congresswoman Liz Cheney are as follows: issue subpoenas, conduct closed door depositions, release information to the press — and repeat. And thanks to the J6 Committee, no pressure should be felt to hold any hearings any time soon.

Thompson and Cheney ran their probe like a grand jury, so Republican chairs should follow suit. Furthermore, because of the new “Bannon-Navarro Doctrine,” individuals or entities who fail to comply with subpoenas for documents or testimony must be held in contempt of Congress and criminal referrals must be acted upon without delay.

When it comes to the Biden family corruption investigation, the American people have been hearing about Hunter’s infamous laptop for nearly three years now and deserve to know the truth.

So, go get the bank records and see what foreign countries the wire transfers are coming from because every American should know if the president is compromised due to his family’s lucrative overseas business entanglements.

If you think the Biden administration is honest enough to police itself, think again. And if you think the liberal corporate media’s going to ask any truly inconvenient questions of this president, you guessed wrong. Only hard-nosed congressional oversight can provide some much needed transparency.

Eventually hearings can be held but not on someone else’s timetable. Individuals like former Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski should be public witnesses for certain, but don’t fall into the swamp’s trap.

Playing by pre-January 6 Committee rules gets you newspaper headlines like “An inauspicious start to House GOP hearings” and coverage of bogus polls that manufacture results like “the public felt, by 56 percent to 36 percent, the newly created select subcommittee on the ‘wea

Trump demands all January 6 prisoners are FREED because they were jailed or convicted over a 'giant lie': Calls for 'Unselect Committee' to be prosecuted after Tucker Carlson aired new footage from Capitol riot

'VIDEO FOOTAGE IS IRREFUTABLE!!!' says Trump on social media

Donald Trump has called for releasing all January 6 prisoners after Tucker Carlson unveiled new footage, which he claims casts a fresh perspective on the 2021 unrest at the US Capitol.

'Congratulations to Tucker Carlson on one of the biggest “scoops” as a reporter in U.S. history,' wrote Trump on social media,

'The New Surveillance Footage of the January 6th Events sheds an entirely different light on what actually happened. The Unselect Committee was a giant SCAM, and has now unequivocally been stamped as CRIMINAL FABRICATORS OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DAY... LET THEM GO FREE, NOW!'

Former President Donald Trump demands all prisoners convicted of crimes on January 6, 2021 released based on footage made avail by Speaker McCarthy and shown by Tucker Carlson

Former President Donald Trump claims then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are to blame for security lapses on January 6, 2021.

In footage screened on his show Monday night, so-called QAnon Shaman Jacob Chansley was apparently seen being escorted into the Senate by Capitol police officers.

Carlson suggested that challenged the prevailing narrative that Chansley - jailed for four years over the incident - aggressively barged into the chamber.

On Tuesday morning, the former president claimed on Truth Social that Capitol rioters behind bars were 'convicted, or are awaiting trial, based on a giant lie.'

'A radical left con job. Thank you to Tucker Carlson and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy for what you have both done,' Trump continued.

'New video footage is irrefutable.'

After Carlson's showed air, Trump also called for the 'Unselect' January 6 committee to be prosecuted for being 'criminal fabricators' and said Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell 'failed on security."

Also broadcast was footage of Capitol cop Brian Sicknick, who died shortly after the riot.

It was initially suggested Sicknick's death came as the result of being attacked with a fire extinguisher and pepper spray by rioters.

But a medical examiner later ruled he'd died of natural causes. And Carlson shared footage of Sicknick walking around the Capitol after the attack.

He appeared in good health, which the Fox News host said poured cold water on liberal outlets' insistence that the Capitol rioters had Sicknick's blood on their hands.

He also referenced Ray Epps, who was seen among the rioters urging them to storm the Capitol, yet was never charged - giving rise to the suspicion that Epps was an informant. Epps has denied working for the government.

On Monday, Carlson suggested Epps was lying.

'They were orderly and meek,' said Carlson of those who stormed the Capitol. 'These were not insurrectionists; they were sightseers.'

Carlson said they 'obviously revere the Capitol,'
