LOL...

I haven't drank a Dr. Pepper in 38 or 40 years now.

In fact, I don't drink much of any carbonated beverage today either, Cola, Pepsi, 7-up, etc.

About the only thing I'll drink with bubbly in it is Champaign! (* CHUCKLE *)

I stopped drinking all soft drinks when I was in the 10th grade.  I switched over to ice-tea (sun tea) without sugar, and never looked back.  Before that, I did like Dr. Pepper.

I do remember my mom back in the 60s making what is called the rootbeer float.  Ice-cream in rootbeer.  Never heard of it using Dr. Pepper though.

I tried a Peeps flavored Pepsi and it was bad.

Root beer floats used to be very popular. I haven’t thought about those in years.

Whataburger, a fast food chain coming from Texas, has had Dr. Pepper milkshakes for a few years, though I haven't tried one.

Blue Bell is another Texas company so the ice cream version is no big surprise.
