I saw this on BBC, I have a tough time with this, if it's just a matter of feeling pain I'm sure there are humane ways to end their lives before cooking them for sustenance, if they are capable of thought (and octopi supposedly are capable of dreaming) then perhaps we should re-evaluate using them as a food source. 

If that happens, we may be very limited in food sources.  Even laying eggs is painful for chickens.

I won't be online for a while I must paint my posters to declare my love of eatng crustaceans as soon as I finish my shrimp cocktail lunch.

Well... talking about pain... what about the pain all the aborted fetuses feel as their limbs are being ripped apart inside the womb!
