Voted for option 2 & 3, trade relationships are too intertwined to stop for anything less than the commencement of hostilities, so 2 and 3 are about all we can do and it's dubious whether it would work, it's basically the same situation as the two michaels who were held prisoner in China.

That is a good line of reasoning.  I don’t think anything will change their minds on this, if she is even alive.
