Iconic cheese brand COON will be no more in Australia.
The brand’s Canadian parent company Saputo will stop using the name, although it has not given a timeframe.
The cheese was named after its founder, Edward William Coon. But issues have been raised with the name because of the word’s use as a racial slur.

As long as people are able to claim that seeing, or hearing something has caused them emotional trauma because it, in their opinion, relates to slavery, demeans them, etc. and are able to successfully remove, demand, or persuade a business, town, city, state, to remove said item, or change it's name, racism will not be eliminated. There will, however, be a fairly constant supply of new "victims".
