I’ve been to some beaches on Long Island that were nice, but that was some years ago. I do like surfing but I’m not great at it. Just discovered bodyboarding when I went to Hawaii last August and that was fun! I’ll go with that! I’m actually off to a place called Costa da Caparica today for some surfing. I’m glad you got to snorkel. Pretty isn’t it? 

With fish: rice or potatoes 

Rice. LI beaches are nice. I haven't been there much. The snorkeling was very pretty. A friend had an underwater camera and took some nice pictures of the fish. Enjoy Caparica. 

Downhill or cross-country skiing

Beach is crowded! But it’s gorgeous out. And 66° Very very nice. I prefer a bit more wild type beaches than this though…

Fish: grilled or broiled (I’m hungry now)

Broiled.  After yesterday's chill, today's 45° seemed nice.

Sushi: Sashimi or Temaki

Oh, that must have felt like a heat wave! Beach was crowded yesterday. Most people not in the water or swimsuits, just enjoying the sun.
