Good morning Kitty.  We have one line of rain coming through here

today.  Farm doesn't have it in their forecast so hope to get on the other

side of it before it develops.  Got delayed by rain the other day so I'm

a little behind down south.

Brandy and I went on our short walk.  Then I went over to daughter's

house and worked on her greenhouse and lawn tractor.  Had my sawsall

so I could cut frame pieces and strengthen it.  Pieces from the frame of

my collapsed tent used to rebuild her greenhouse.

Most of the maintenance is done on her lawn tractor for this year and

I already fixed the battery charger system on it month ago or so.  So they

won't have to put my electric charger on it this year.  It was aback here so

I think that wire was probably broken when I got it.  I only used it a couple

times a year so I probably put the charger on it anyway.

Stew and bread sounds good.  I hardly ever eat any kind of bread anymore.

Because it turns to sugar.  Ate wheat for a while but can't trust what they put

into it.  I eat wife's stew when she makes it.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning Kitty.   Didn't get much sleep for yesterday and didn't manage to

get a nap until towards end of day, so exercised but not much else.

Take care of garbage today.  To wet to mow the lawn, was going to do it yesterday

but started raining at the end of walking.

Looks like we have a gap in the rain to take our walk later this morn.  Glad you're

busy, Hope enjoying life.

Another cloudy rainy day for us....I thought it was April showers bring May flowers...guess something doesn't know it is May....the hill side is getting greener with the trees leafing out...so I can enjoy that....even when it is cloudy....Brian is already on his way to buy some more bags of mulch that is on sale....he has already gone thru 10 bags and more to go.....back yard is looking so great with all the holes filled in and lawn mowed etc....not at all like it was when we bought the place....fun to watch the improvements....the flower gardens are ready for me to plan what will go where etc....my agenda for the day?  I haven't figured that out yet....LOL hope you get a walk in

Good morning Kitty.  Glad you're happy with your new property.  Sounds

like of things are fixed there.

Brandy and I got a short walk in.  Was very warm after the rain.

Did a little more to daughter's greenhouse and garbage.  Mowed our lawn

here at home.

We will pick out flowers to go around the pool soon.  Older daughter started

that when she lived here.

Have a good day.

things are moving along....all the tiger lilies are planted and around all the trees are mulched...today more stuff being done outside....misty and foggy and no sun again....we go to daughters every Wed...we use her garbage company with her...we only make one bag a week...used to be able to have a compost pile which was great....but no more with bears all over the area.....saw a bobcat today out in the backyard.....Brian saw a coyote....our town has put up an alert about the coyote ....said it was aggressive...maybe bad for people with little pets....hope they would be fearful of people....or I stay in....LOL.....

Good morning Kitty.  The yard sounds nice.  We haven't gotten to much yet.

Picked up lots of stones where we did the excavating last year and mowed the

grass.

We had coyotes all over when they were putting the millennium pipe gasline through.

They bothered Cocoa and got to close sometimes.  They were everywhere for a

couple years after the pipe line was finished, then thinned out.  Now I rarely see

one that isn't a flash and gone.  Don't remember when I saw a bobcat, decades.

Think I saw one briefly at daughter's place about 10 to 15 years ago.

Brandy got a slight limp again so she only gets about 0.5 miles walk now.  I go ahead

and walk another 7-8 miles alone, not as much fun without Brandy.  Brandy is sad

not going.

Rained all day here yesterday.  I managed to clean out the carburetor ports on our

lawn tractor.  It wanted to stall last time I mowed, had to pull the choke out to keep

it running.

Should have our pizza night and Mother's Day gathering tonight.  Wife wants to go see

her mom on the weekend.  Happy Mother's Day Kitty, case I forget.

The sun is shining...altho I don't have much to do...the sunshine makes me happy.....our lawn is about 2 1/2 acres all mowed with lots of blossoming trees...we think mostly cherries....Brian is seeding some grass in the spots that he had filled...then it needs to be mowed again already....thank goodness for a riding mower....second born son just dropped in love that...short visit but great....he is going to find us some lilacs....we have so little in the yard except for the flowering trees...I want the forsythia and lilacs...they are in most yards here in CT.....hope your day is great....
