Good morning all.  Cool this morn at 49 but supposed to be in the 30s tomorrow morn.

I don't take the pups out until later in the morning now, then up the hill through the woods.

Later in life they will walk with me without leashes but now they still do much wrong.  I'm

happy for them to have their puppy time, their lives go by so fast.

Susan, when I import a picture and it's not straight up I left click on it, then I choose rotate right

as many times as I need to.  Anything else I end up with a mirror image and things aren't right

in the picture.  Don't know if you're bring them in the same and even using a different browser

might make my way wrong.  Is that a picture of Finn's patio?

Went out yesterday and got prescriptions, for thyroid and one I take sparingly for cholesterol.

Take about 1/4 of what Dr prescribes and I get it down around 70 which is where LDL needs to

be for diabetics, 100 for the rest of you.  I should be down around 70 anyway because of the plaque

on the walls of my Aorta that caused the aneurysm, which came close to killing me and did a relative.

I was so close to dying, think about that sometimes but having that deers foot hit mine at 65 mph was

even closer.  Deer was only about 6 weeks ago.

Paul, I'm certain I would do terrible at a hearing test.  I remember decades ago having a hearing test for

pre-employment and my high frequency hearing was already gone.  I'm certain it's much lower in frequency

now.  Wife's is bad in her left ear.  I can say something about 10 feet away on her left and she doesn't hear

me at all.  That's in the house and my voice is kind of low frequency, usually the last to go.  People even

older than us that have hearing aids say they are extremely uncomfortable and don't wear them much of

the time.  Also they lose them every once in a while and very expensive. My advantage plan has a $700.

deductible on them, that's a lot for something that's painful to wear.

I'm glad everyone seems to be doing fairly well.  We are doing well.  My wife is going through her appointments

getting ready to have her cataracts fixed and her blurry vision will be gone.

A beautiful granddaughter and picture. So wonderful to see them grow up!

I tried many times to change the orientation of the picture here on my cell phone with no luck. Are you telling me to click on the left of the picture?  I’ll try again. All photos are on my cell and not my laptop!

Meeting a friend and her golden for a walk this afternoon!

Happy Thursday to all ~

Good morning Susan, Kitty, and all.  43 here this morn, think this is supposed to be the 67 degree day,

our taste of Fall they said.  Goes back up close to 80 after this for a while.  Temp is supposed to drop

before daybreak.

Susan, I didn't know you were using a phone to post here.  So I was talking about clicking a mouse button.

Sorry, I'm so far behind the times.  I mostly use my phone for texting, talk on it on rare occasions.  When

I'm traveling I read my email on my phone and I can read this forum posts but I don't post because I don't

have my password memorized.  My inlaws are getting up in their 80s and seem to only like their kids, don't

care for me, our grandkids, or our pups.  Downright mean sometimes.  I don't really know whats going on

but it's becoming undesirable to visit there now.  Our grandkids don't go anymore but we can't leave our pups

home that long.  I spend most of my time outdoors with the pups.  My parents have been gone for quite a while

since I was the youngest child but wife is the oldest.  My mom gone at 61 from smoking, I miss her so much, said

goodbye 35 years ago.  I wanted to take wife up to see her parents every month or so because they are starting to

get confused and forgetting lots of things.  Her eyes will be fixed from the cataracts soon.  She had that bad accident

on the route between here and there so even with good eyes she doesn't like the trip.  Broken ribs and shattered

wrist.  Would've been lots worse if she hadn't been in a 2015 Toyota, fairly safe vehicle.  Much safer than my 2006

Subaru and especially my 1985 Monte Carlo.

Can see lots of water droplets outside in the cameras, from the fog.

Pups saw a squirrel on our walk yesterday and the one that has her leach on my belt broke my belt.  Not my good

belt.  Dog walking belts I have.  That one is garbage but I put new rivets in one they damaged earlier.  Should work for

a while, the rivets I use to secure the buckle to the belt.

Got the part from Florida to fix my antenna rotor so will get to that soon.  The part signals back to the control box which

direction the antenna is pointed and has the stop for when the antenna has gone all the way around.

Susan, the entrance way in the picture is very pretty.  None of our entrance ways are level with the house.  We would be

flooded with the water rushing down the side of the mountain.

Kitty, I see trees starting to go off green here and there and the sun's shadows signal the sun is sinking into the southern

sky.  Of course, it's getting dark much earlier.

Doing well here, glad everyone is doing well.  My granddaughter starting in her college studies.  We helped with her tuition

and books.  I spent thousands of hours with her when she was growing up.  She's the one that helped convince me to stop

smoking this final time in April of 2007 when she was 3 years old.  Maybe I tried harder this time.

Hope Paul is doing well.

Dear friends ~
I hope you all enjoy these last weeks of Summer.  The pumpkins and fall decor have arrived in Avon. My daughter and SIL are traveling to the Finger Lakes.  I will have their daughter this weekend!

Thanks, Ernie, you also. Beautiful weather here.

Enjoy the time with your family Susan.

I've had 6 credit alerts for credit applications in my name the last 10 days. I guess somebody found my SSN. I have a freeze with all the credit agencies so no harm.

Good morning Susan, Paul, and all.  Susan, I love Fall but at the same time very sad to see Summer leaving.

We would already be back in school when we were young, no more carefree Summer days.

Enjoy the time with your granddaughter Susan, don't need to tell you how fast the years go by and she's a

teen.  I miss my little girl granddaughter, still love her but the little girl is gone.  She was 3 when I dropped

into this forum, now hs graduate, married, and in college.  She used to jog around the 4.5 mile block with me,

Cocoa, and Brandy.

Paul, that's horrible, don't look forward to the day the cyber thieves get to us.  I once had someone charge $10

for web page work, lucky I saw it the first day and got the card cancelled.  Was 10 or 15 years ago.  Looks like

they really went to town on your credit.  Might have even bought a car on it.  So many thieves now that they

don't have to sneak through the night and can get cash rather than some object they have to sell.

Yesterday I went to the Farmer's Market for our 2 gallons of laundry soap that doesn't need softner, and our

grass feed hamburger that I get 10 pounds for a discount and don't go after very often.  We only use the little

freezer with our refrigerator.  I could never see having a big chest freezer, some of our relatives have them.

Our electronic sensor for the outdoor sump pump quit so had to take apart the case and let it dry out.  Had to

work on it for a while putting electrolytic grease on lots of contacts all over it, finally got it so the power light

and relay light came on at the right times and actually did what they said they were doing.  The controls cost

around $70 so worthwhile getting them working again even if I keep a spare.

Then worked on my antenna rotor but have failed to get it working correctly so far.  The direction meter just

stays pegged at one end instead of indicating the direction the antenna is pointed.  I will get it, I remember it

being a pain years ago when I had it in for repairs.

Got the painted fuel tank mounted on my bike, looks good.  Last couple years had a faded brown tank on a

black bike.  Let it sit for a month for the paint to cure some.

Everyone have a great day.
