Good morning Susan, Kitty, and all.  I'm up in the middle of my night with all the caffeine I drank while traveling.

It does keep me from dozing off on the road so seems worth it.  Wife doesn't go to the farm because of the

stink of cat urine.

I still enjoy all the work taking care of our home but can see where it will become to much some day, If I get there.

Was down at the farm so no work done here.

I'm retired Susan, so if I get drowsy in the afternoon I just drift off for a few minutes.  Glad never to go back to those

companies.  I do go to bed very early to get up before the traffic to walk the pups though.

Glad your daughter was recognized in her teaching career.

If we had an RV we would be gone but with our pups we can't go on vacation very easy.

Happy to not be smoking, think I would be a cripple or dead if I had continued.

Baja seemed to handle great on the 200 mile trip.  I have a record of tread depths so will know if I have problems

before they cost me so much again.

Enjoy your day all.

Good morning, everyone.

Well-deserved pride in your daughter, Susan.

A rainy day here. I still go into my office on Thursday, always seems to rain. I guess that's just my imagination.

Good morning Paul and all.  35 here this morn.  Might get some snow or rain

this morning.  Not certain if we will head out or not.  We did get lots of rain

yesterday.  All day until almost dark.  Ditches were running full and fast.

It must be amazing that you have Central Park there in the middle of the city.

Must be around 50 acres put aside where land must be worth millions an acre.

Maybe much more than that.

We didn't get much done yesterday.  I never did get enough sleep in my broken

up night.  So didn't get much done, few little things.  We watched a good movie on

a new TV app my wife loaded onto the TV.

Hope your day at work went well.  Most likely rained most of the day there also.

Everyone enjoy the day.

Good morning Ernie, Paul and Kitty ~

Wishing I didn’t have to go outside for Finn’s morning walk.  A balmy 35 degrees with half rain/half snow outside and very dark sky.  We had quite a show of lightning, thunder and heavy rain as a front marched across the state.  Finn gets very troubled by thunder and he was given lots of pets and comfort.

Nothing new here.  We are planning a trip to Pittsburgh this week-end to see a symphony with Jim’s friends.  It will be interesting as I am not a fan of sitting for lengths of time…… hoping the weather and the drive will not be problematic.

Carry on……. Susan

Enjoy the symphony and The Burgh, Susan. I worked at Mellon Bank decades ago and went often.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Good morning Susan, Paul, and all.  29 here, so not to bad.  I'm up early for some reason.

We have two low fronts coming together here Sunday night into Monday, leave it to Winter

to get in our way in January.  Then we have another snow storm next Wednesday.  One of

Sundays fronts is from the southwest and the other from the south, not sure if either will

go through Ohio.  Might be just rain in NYC.  Trip to Pittsburgh might be ok if down and back

before Sunday night.  We have been turning on one or two kitchen lights during the daytime

lately because of dark days.

Our Cocoa used to run and hide and shake with thunder.  Out of their control I guess.

We got my wife's new phone working yesterday.  She's had same one for years.  Then we went

to Walmart and got some supplies.  Shouldn't need to go back there for months.  I had to buy an

extra belt to wear different jeans for morning run.  I managed to slip and fall on the pavement and

put holes in the knees of my new Levi Strauss Winter jeans.  Not cheap, think I will need to patch them

and use them for cold mornings for a long time.  I must have hit hard, have fallen in them before with

no damage I could see.  Maybe damaged the fabric a little each time.  Don't like to be changing belt back

and forth every day so just got a cheap one for mornings.  I don't use it to help me hold the leaches.  Use

a tool belt without the pouches for that.  One leach hooked on the belt and one in my hand.  Also, they are

hooked together with a 2.5 foot leach so they can't be split up all over the place.

I always joke with wife that we have the weekend off, no overtime for us.  Some how her business got people

to work weekend days on regular pay and had to work another full weekend to make up for a weekend day off,

even using a vacation day.  So they worked every other weekend and had to work three weekends in a row to

make up for the day off.  Just about shoots the hole month.  Glad we're in retirement.  They tried to get her back

naturally, have to be having an impossible time getting workers.

I used to go to my granddaughter's violin concerts, only ones I ever went to.  Wife went to most of them.  Sometimes

she had to work.  We were so proud of her in her concerts.

I also, hope all have a great weekend.

Hi Ernie,

Cute picture of your grands and the hot air balloons.  They would fly over our home during the Hall of Fame events when I lived in North Canton.

Typed a message earlier and it was gone into cyber space.

Gray sky here too.  We always seem to have our kitchen lights on due to the dark outside.

Snow coming tomorrow ~

Dear Paul,

Pray tell, were you a “Steelers” fan when you lived there?   Always a rivalry between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers ~.

Apparently seeing Mozart & More at Heinz Hall tomorrow afternoon.

Enjoy the week-end.  Dark sky and snow tomorrow.

Good morning.  31 here at almost 10 AM.  Woke at almost 3 so didn't take the time to write in this

forum.  Drank coffee and looked at stuff, then got ready to head down the road.  After that and

breakfast went down to get groceries before all the people trying to beat the storm.  Wegmans

will be crowded all day and more difficult to get stuff they're having trouble with lately, like lettuce.

We have a little sun this morn but around 2 PM supposed to start snowing and last until tomorrow

morning.  3-4 inches with higher amounts some places.

We just took care of little stuff yesterday.  Today I have to look at the heated mats on the deck.  Tripping

the GFCI when they're turned on now.  Probably some water got into one of the connections.  Has a bunch

with the little control unit, large mat, and 4 little step mats.

We might get another snow storm Wednesday but we're all set.  Can skip garbage Tuesday if we have to but

don't expect driving being a problem that day.

Wife getting ready for a niece baby shower later this month.

Enjoy the day and snow all.

Good morning from snowy Avon Lake ~

This is the second time I have posted and hit Post and my message doesn’t appear?  Operator error, no doubt.

So, we have decided due to the predicted snowfall and spouse having a low blood pressure problem, we will stay here and not make the five hour trek.  I am just as happy that we are not doing such a drive during the winter.  Worse case scenario would be to be stuck over there and Finn home alone……

We will spend a relaxing day with the electric fireplace on, relaxing, watching a football game and dining on an Atlantic Salmon Roast with goat cheese florentine, a client’s gift to husband.

Enjoy the day.  Stay safe everyone.  Susan
