Have a fun time in Atlantic City. Do you visit the casino when you go?
Enjoy the week-end.

Good morning Susan. 50 here this morn, so good to be out of the rain for a while. Ground still isn't dry.
Tore up the lawn at the farm some yesterday, mowing with the large mower fairly fast. Just isn't dry yet.
Got the lawn mowed, fixed an electrical outlet, and emptied 11 buckets of used cat liter in the woods, from
sister keeping the liter boxes cleaned. I usually don't touch them anymore until she goes south for the
Winter, unless something happens and she doesn't make it to the farm. Got few smaller things done. After
the people that bought the farm part across the road finished their garage sale and left, I walked the lane
over to the pasture. they put a pipe across the creek crossing. I remember our dog Prince jumping into the
air chasing dragonflies there. Was just rocks piled across the creek for tractors to cross. Our other dog, Shep,
probably chased them also.
Belle seems healed to me but wife is still taking her to doctor. Think over 1k into it now.
I have lots of stuff to do to the SS before I get the shipment from Calif. Thought we should go on a picnic today
but the grounds are probably occupied everywhere being Labor Day. We need to be off by ourselves with our
excitable dogs. Gets much hotter here after today.
Have a great day all.

I'm glad to hear that Belle is feeling better, Ernie. 106 is high, but I guess dogs are normally a few degrees higher than people.
Atlantic City was good, the weather was perfect. We listened to a Springsteen cover band on the marina. They were pretty good. I do go to the casinos, Susan. I lost, but I know when to stop. It was not very crowded. Probably more so for Labor Day.
Enjoy the weekend all.

Good morning Paul. Still in trouble with Belle and still worried. Still getting smudges of blood on her
nose. Congested noises when she sniffs things and sometimes chokes. The fever is still gone and that's
good. Tested for lots of things that were negative. Does have some liver problems, problems with blood
coagulating. She's on antibiotics still.
Glad you had a good trip. I was in Atlantic City once in the 80s.
I finished wiring up the cooling fan I mounted on the new cooling coil for the transmission in the SS. I ordered
gauges for transmission temperature and pressure, and bought a holder for them. Will be hooking them up
today probably. Getting warm to work outdoors but better than cold for me. Get stuff done while I wait for the
throttle valve control kit from California. Hope the kit works, I'm anxious to get this project done and get some
use from the SS before Winter closes in on us.
With inspection and some information from the internet, I've found the problem with the bike drive. Don't know
where I will be able to get the part, maybe ebay. The teeth are worn off in a circular gear in the rear wheel. It's a
shaft drive bike.
Still taking Belle on walks in the morning along with Chloe. Carrying water along so they can get a drink during the
trip. Belle is turning around early every morning. She still pulls like crazy if she sees an animal.
Have a great day all and stay cool. Hope Kitty is comfortable.

Happy Labor Day. Picture is of days gone by… I hesitated to post…. It’s a child’s pop gun!

Good morning Susan, Paul, and all. Thanks for wishing Belle well. Looks like back to the doctors for her this week.
Not really getting better. She does seem ok for a while sometimes but then the same symptoms come back. She
didn't go for a walk yesterday morn but I took both of them up through the woods later in the day.
Finally got a haircut yesterday, picked up some supplies for the SS, and bought a card to go with wife's gift. Glad new
places are opening up in our mall, thought it was going to be abandoned. Has medical facilities now, a sporting goods
store along with sports playing areas, new restaurants, etc... Seemed for years like it was closing down.
Got a little work done on the SS yesterday after running around. Replaced the heater hoses, put the cooling fan wire
harness inside a holder, painted the transmission cooling lines. Have to head out again today so work will be broken
up. Also, stop and go into the pool every so often because I'm working outdoors in the heat.
Have a great day all.

Thanks, Susan. I hope you enjoyed it. I think all toy guns need to be translucent orange, at least in NY.
I donated blood today. I was speaking with someone else there, and she passed out. All of a sudden there were 3 technicians/nurses around her. I'm not sure if she fainted. I heard one nurse tell her you can't do this without eating breakfast. She was young, fairly thin. I wonder if she would ever try it again.

Good morning Paul and all. Another 90 degree day today, cool day for some southern states but a heat
advisory here. I'm glad to not need a lot of clothing to walk the dogs like I will soon. Starting the 11th
we're supposed to be in below average temps.
I should ask daughter over with grands today, to swim. After today have lightning storms every day until
it cools down.
Worked on SS some yesterday. Got some brass fittings at Home Depot to install the temperature sensor
in a T, then installed the T into the short piece of hose routing transmission oil into it's cooler coils. Ready
to have the gauge connected. Tucked some more wires into covers. Was very hot out there so didn't get
lots done. The company in California didn't have gaskets made up for my kit last Friday so the kit still hadn't
shipped yesterday, so will be a while waiting. I still have more work to do to install the new pressure and
temperature gauges.
Found the problem with my bike but couldn't find a good deal on the ring gear I need. Ordered a complete
used wheel with a new tire on it. Hope the ring gear is in at least average shape. If not, took a chance and
still have the new mounted tire. Just will still have to order a new ring gear for about the same price. That
wasn't to far away, should be here by the weekend.
I saw Kitty on Facebook so still punching the keys.
Hope you're all doing good and staying cool.

GM Ernie,
This seems like the last hot patch for the year.
Enjoy the day everyone,
Paul
