Good morning Susan, Paul, and all.  Thanks for wishing Belle well.  Looks like back to the doctors for her this week.

Not really getting better.  She does seem ok for a while sometimes but then the same symptoms come back.  She

didn't go for a walk yesterday morn but I took both of them up through the woods later in the day.

Finally got a haircut yesterday, picked up some supplies for the SS, and bought a card to go with wife's gift.  Glad new

places are opening up in our mall, thought it was going to be abandoned.   Has medical facilities now, a sporting goods

store along with sports playing areas, new restaurants, etc...  Seemed for years like it was closing down.

Got a little work done on the SS yesterday after running around.  Replaced the heater hoses, put the cooling fan wire

harness inside a holder, painted the transmission cooling lines.  Have to head out again today so work will be broken

up.  Also, stop and go into the pool every so often because I'm working outdoors in the heat.

Have a great day all.

Thanks, Susan. I hope you enjoyed it. I think all toy guns need to be translucent orange, at least in NY.

I donated blood today.  I was speaking with someone else there, and she passed out. All of a sudden there were 3 technicians/nurses around her. I'm not sure if she fainted. I heard one nurse tell her you can't do this without eating breakfast. She was young, fairly thin. I wonder if she would ever try it again.

Good morning Paul and all.  Another 90 degree day today, cool day for some southern states but a heat

advisory here.  I'm glad to not need a lot of clothing to walk the dogs like I will soon.  Starting the 11th

we're supposed to be in below average temps.

I should ask daughter over with grands today, to swim.  After today have lightning storms every day until

it cools down.

Worked on SS some yesterday.  Got some brass fittings at Home Depot to install the temperature sensor

in a T, then installed the T into the short piece of hose routing transmission oil into it's cooler coils.  Ready

to have the gauge connected.   Tucked some more wires into covers.  Was very hot out there so didn't get

lots done.  The company in California didn't have gaskets made up for my kit last Friday so the kit still hadn't

shipped yesterday, so will be a while waiting.  I still have more work to do to install the new pressure and

temperature gauges.

Found the problem with my bike but couldn't find a good deal on the ring gear I need.  Ordered a complete

used wheel with a new tire on it.  Hope the ring gear is in at least average shape.  If not, took a chance and

still have the new mounted tire.  Just will still have to order a new ring gear for about the same price.  That

wasn't to far away, should be here by the weekend.

I saw Kitty on Facebook so still punching the keys.

Hope you're all doing good and staying cool.

GM Ernie,

This seems like the last hot patch for the year.

Enjoy the day everyone,

Paul

Do you promise….. because I am so looking forward to the end of these hot and humid days.  We leave for Colorado next week, so I am praying for cooler weather.

Hi Ernie,

I feel so sad for the birds and chipmunks who visit my bird feeder.  I found an old tin pie plate in the garage and filled it its cool water.  It didn’t take long before the small birds were drinking and splashing in it.  Made my heart happy.  So hot ehre

How is Belle?

Good morning Susan, Paul, and all.  65, another warm morning but the cold front is supposed to come through

today with storms, around evening.  So will be very humid today.

Belle seems to be improving but still getting blood smudges on the blanket she lies on.  So back for more tests

Thursday, today.  More blood tests then maybe more xrays to make sure she didn't get something in her throat

or sinuses.

Today is the day Princess, Cocoa's mom, died in 2015.  Miss her and still love her today.  She was such a loving

being.

Granddaughter didn't get into the Excelsior tuition program yet so another tuition payment goes out.  Glad she's

back in college but wish she had applied in the program long ago, applications open since May.

Parts came for bike so switched over to work on it for our last 90 degree day, though today is 88 and humid.  It's

all the parts I need and is almost ready for a test run.

Still working on getting transmission pressure and temperature gauges into the SS.  Thinking about an override

switch and an indicator light for the cooling fan.

Belle turns around about a half hour early on our walks but seems to love them.

Colorado sounds great Susan.  Rode through there on a bike about 18 years ago, was pretty.  Didn't have the time

to stop and look around.

Enjoy the day all.  I get into the pool every day to enjoy the end of Summer.
