It was sunny and dry here also, Ernie. It seems Brooklyn & Queens got the worst of the floods. Once the rain stopped, I didn't see any water. Flood damage is not included in normal insurance, so people not in flood zones may not have it. It will take a while to fix.

Enjoy the day, everyone.

Good morning Paul and all.  57 here this morn, unreal.  I hope to get a picnic in but wife's parents stopping by

today, granddaughters party Saturday.  After that rainy and lower 50s, think it stays there.  We hope her parents

can stand the pups, they settle down after a while but they're very happy to get company, like most dogs, but they

get rowdy for 5 or 10 minutes.

I picked up the speedometer cable yesterday but mainly ended up unclogging a drain at my daughter's.  Not even

as much fun as replacing the cable but love helping the girls.  We also replaced her water filter.

Hope you all have a great day.  If your weather is kept up with the high pressure we have, hope you're enjoying it.

Hi Ernie,

Not much new here.  Warm 80 degree days to be followed this weekend by rain and 50’s.  A short to to the Columbus area to see Jim’s family. A one day boarding for Finn.  Fall decorations are now in place. Corn stalks and pumpkins outside!

Errands now.  Keep the Faith!  Susan

Hi Paul,

Lovely here this week.  Eventually must tend to cutting down the perennial flowers.  A guest brought flowers last evening  I just stuck them in water and a vase and must now tend to cutting and arranging.

Fall has arrived.  And on we go!  Susan

Susan, Ernie,

It has also been a beautiful pair of days here.  I think we get rain for the weekend.

Good morning all.  Sounds like we're all getting the same weather.  I dread the colder weather but my

brother in law wants it cooler to work on his new garage bay.  I was going to go up north to help him today

but he's waiting for cooler temps.

Glad Finn is back home Susan.  He's probably to old to enjoy being around the other rowdy dogs very much.

We didn't get any pumpkins yet, soon.  Wife has lots of Fall decorations up.  A shower curtain, floor mat, and

a window curtain to match, with Fall leaves and bears on it, will have strings of leaves up around the house soon.

I'm still working on this speedometer cable leak on the SS.  I don't even use it, I use the satellite with the GPS.

Wife's parents were here for a while.  I held each of Chloe and Belle out by the pool until the other settled  down

with them.  Took a while.  We have only today and maybe Friday morning of nice weather out, same as you all have.

Hope Kitty is still comfortable.  I'm still seeing her on facebook here and there.

Enjoy the day all.  Pool is closed and covered.  Flowers are still alive for now.

Hi Ernie,

Despite having a combination COVID and flu vaccination and feeling punky this morning, I managed to gather some strength and do some fall gardening chores.  Cutting back the tall hollyhock and spreading their seeds. My ancestors were most likely, gatherers and planters.  Lol

Rain coming soon. We do need God’s water!

Hi Paul,

Welcome raindrops here in Avon Lake.  Temperatures eventually will fall from the 70’s to the 50’s.  A short trip tomorrow to Bexley, a suburb of Columbus.

I bravely received my COVID booster and influenza yesterday.  Would love to believe this was over….. something like our sixth vaccination since it all began,

I am betting you are seeing Fall colors~ it’s always later here!

Enjoy the weekend. Susan

Hey Paul, Jerthie , Anthony

Just getting back on Delphi. Still struggling with smoking. On again, off again I have had no longevity to speak of. I am a lucky soul regarding my health but deny what I know to be true is bound to happen if I don't wake up soon. Winter is around the corner here in Central Florida which allows me to take long walks in the morning with my dog versus the summer heat (90+ degrees at 7am). The doctor says I have COPD but I don't believe that I have any noticeable symptoms  Time will tell.

Paul, speaking of scams I found an email which said that I had $350 that was billed to my credit card for an anti-virus software called Norton. I was worried when I called the 800 number to find out what was going on. They assured that there was no problem and asked me to wait until the next billing cycle to resolve it. In the next breath they asked me to provide them with my credit card number so they could expedite a refund. That is when the red flag went up. I called my bank immediately and discovered that there were  no charges on my account.

I learned my lesson. Do NOT respond to any unknown emails.

Good morning Susan, Paul, Andrew, and all.  Keep up the good work Andrew, not smoking world is much better than the

smoking world.  Find new and better things and activities in each season.  My brother has been involved in scams since his

wife died.  Sends much of the little money he has to a girl that most likely doesn't exist, not a pretty picture.

Glad you are finding good in the day in spite of the vaccines Susan.  I'm guessing your garden work will bloom in the Spring.

I think we could do without rain for a long time here but much better than not getting rain at all, since we live on water.  The

Fall leaves are colorful and bright behind our house, don't think we're at our peak yet though.  We went on a picnic yesterday,

Was a perfect Fall day, though warmer than most.  There's stream there for the pups to play in and trails to take them on walks.

Cold front is moving in tonight, can hear the wind in the trees.  Rain is supposed to hold off until afternoon so I can get the lawn

mowed.  Have many rainy days coming and high temps in the lower 50s.

Woke early but can get a nap in after the dog walk.

Think I have the transmission leak at the speedometer cable fixed finally.

Enjoy the day all.

Ernie
