Congrats! I've been waiting for you to join me. Yes, some people may believe that those with anxiety disorders are prone to failure. Well, you and I both know that some of us are very strong and determined. I'm super proud of you!
Keep up the good work!

Big Congrats to the July 2019 Ex-smokers. Welcome to the Clubhouse. You fought hard to make it to one year smoke-free. Way to Go. You deserve to celebrate. Stay the course.

Thank you so much Gloria!
It is a tough, tough fight (many time seemed impossible), as I'm sure you know.
It get's so much easier, and life so much better after soooo relatively little time.
Thanks again. To hear words from an Ex-smoker, you know from where you speak, means a great deal to me.
You made my day.
All the best.
Patrick
Quit - July 16th, 2019
7/24/20
Hey Patrick,
Congrats again and it is a BIG deal to remain quit for one year. It was a TOUGH fight to get through and a serious battle for sure. I quit after 42 years and went cold turkey. The first 6 weeks were the hardest. Glad I had an educated planned quit and the support from this site and my group buddies were immeasurable. We were on the battlefield for sure. I had to fight and remain passionate and tenacious about quitting and never wanting to smoke again. I refused to lose or smoke again. Just beware the quiet whispers and "just one" lie and you will remain a Quitter forever. It is easier now but I remember the battle and refuse to go back. I LOVE and have so much JOY being a non-smoker. I beat Nicodemon and am so proud. My brain still remembers that I smoked for 42 years and pings sometimes about smoking. But each time the smoking memory moves further back in my memory bank. I am SO happy today.
Hope you celebrated your milestone and on to the 2nd year. It is easier but we must remain vigilant and don't forget we are still on the battlefield. Keep your armor on.
Gloria
