I have four bottles of perfume,   numerous handcreams and smelly soap........I think even if I did smoke no one would notice.....but I am not planning to smoke.  It is nice to smell amazing.    You are doing ok to.......especially with two smokers in the house.    My hubby had throat cancer about 15 years ago and has had the all clear for years.  However, he recently had a virus which made his throat croaky so dr. has sent him to throat specialist.      He is not happy about it, but what can you expect when you spend half the day in the shed puffing away.    I do hope he is going to be ok, and maybe he will stop smoking.       Funny thing is,  if I had a ciggie (during one of my quits) he would get very upset.     Just pray I say.

Nice to hear from you.

Your husband had throat cancer and he smokes!? Un-freaking-believable!

Congratulations on 2 full months Viv. I see that the Jacaranda trees are in full bloom in Australia and they look so beautiful.

I hope your hubby is ok. He needs to follow your lead. Quitting scares many people but we must develop a NO FEAR attitude. You know it can be conquered!

Keep up the great job Viv. Keep fighting for your freedom. Onto icky month 3 for you. heart_eyes

Hi. Iv

i hope you are having a good weekend. I’m sorry to hear about your husband and I hope his appointment goes well. Let’s hope he follows you with your quit. But whether he does or not, you stay strong!

Hi Brenda

I hope you’re having a good weekend.  I just wanted to let you know that I had an appointment with the hygienist at my dentist on Friday. Yes I’ve still got gum disease but she said that in July there was 25% of inflammation and bleeding in my gums and on Friday she said it had reduced to 5%. She asked me what had I been doing differently and I told her that I had stopped smoking and that I’d also bought a water flosser. I’m so pleased I just wanted to share it with you.

Thanks Linda.  Last time he had the throat cancer we both quit for quite some time.  Hope he will quit again.     He is strong (ex commando) but smoking can get any one of us.  Hoping for the best.

Yes, I am still here and smoke free and not really hankering after a smoke which is a plus.  Thanks for keeping an eye on us.
