Good Morning, October Ex-Smokers
I want to give you all a heads up that tomorrow is the last day of the month and your October group will move from the 'Introduction/Newcomers' folder to the 'Quit Buddies Unite' folder as you continue to support each other on your journey to permanent freedom. You will still be able to post one another as usual but your home will move. That's the only difference.
If you look to the left hand column under 'DISCUSSIONS' there are several headings (folders) as you go down the list. The Quit Buddies Unite folder is about the 5th one down, right after General Chit-Chat.
Have a great smoke free day.

Hi Sharoe,
It's wonderful that now you can say, 'I quit smoking last month". Keep on going. You are doing great.
This saying helped keep me going:
"If I have just one I will be right back where I started; and where I started was desperately wishing I could be where I am today".

"If I have just one I will be right back where I started; and where I started was desperately wishing I could be where I am today"
Wow powerful statement that marge and that is what keeps me going I dnt want to be where I was.

I agree with Shararoe that your saying is great! I have seen several inspirational phrases to keep me in the quit. I read Allen Carr’s EasyWay on the second and third day of my quit and refer to it and this forum when my resolve gets shakey.
One day at a time since 10/13/19

Morning Susan,
I agree it's a powerful saying. It is in no way my saying and was here on the forum when I arrived. But it keep me focused when I wavered.
Another good one that helped me was:
'ONE IS TOO MANY AND A THOUSAND IS NOT ENOUGH'
It speaks too the fact that nicotine has an insatiable appetite.
