Hi modmarge
Wow I am no more the new kid on the block I've made it 2 the ex October group. Permanent home i thank the Lord for each day that I am nicotine free.

Hi Sharoe,
It's wonderful that now you can say, 'I quit smoking last month". Keep on going. You are doing great.
This saying helped keep me going:
"If I have just one I will be right back where I started; and where I started was desperately wishing I could be where I am today".

Wow powerful statement that marge and that is what keeps me going I dnt want to be where I was.

I agree with Shararoe that your saying is great! I have seen several inspirational phrases to keep me in the quit. I read Allen Carr’s EasyWay on the second and third day of my quit and refer to it and this forum when my resolve gets shakey.
One day at a time since 10/13/19

Morning Susan,
I agree it's a powerful saying. It is in no way my saying and was here on the forum when I arrived. But it keep me focused when I wavered.
Another good one that helped me was:
'ONE IS TOO MANY AND A THOUSAND IS NOT ENOUGH'
It speaks too the fact that nicotine has an insatiable appetite.

Hi there Mark,l
It's good to see some of the October Ex-Smokers still active. One huge force that kept me going in the quit was my buddy group. I could not have done it without them.
