Congrats on your 3 weeks, that is fantastic and the worst 3 weeks of it.  It does get easier and easier and for the first year you will face new triggers, first Christmas, first vacation, first everything and some of those can be difficult.  They do however, get easier and easier and fewer cravings all the time.  I am coming up on 13 months and there are still times I want to smoke but, not near as bad as in the beginning.  Just don't smoke and keep moving forward, it really will get easier

Thank you for your encouragement,  I was miserable as a smoker knowing the damage it caused and the money wasted,  I would rather feel a bit miserable for a short time untill my urge goes from time to time , than being completely miserable all day every day as a smoker , I dont think of the first anything at the moment,  I just do a day a time , infact this time I am finding it much easier as I have failed many before , the only difference this time is that I have re wired my brain into how I think , and those little receptors will give up soon lol . I now realise it wasn't the cigarette I enjoyed it was the need for nicotine top up . Bye for now keep intouch .

Hi Marjorie,

I am so sorry for my late reply... been a little distracted from the forum lately with some things going on in my life.  Anyway, congratulations on ONE MONTH!!!  That is awesome!  My last cigarette was March 9, 2018 at 5:30am.  I am sure you will still be doing great at 3 months if you just take it one day at a time.  You are doing great so far!

Take care and hope to hear from you soon!
