Hello, yuppers, I am very well.  Three years, 9 months and 15 days into my smoke free lifestyle.  Skin is much clearer, I look younger (hee, hee),  I have better taste buds every, loving food and drink like never before, and so happy I do not smoke those awefull blue smoke cancer sticks.

I am sure you are feeling some of the joy as well.  Knowing how fast time can fly, you keep going and before you now it, you will have several years into your  smoke free lifestyle.  But only if you do not smoke.  Not even one - no, uhuh, no way.

Popsicles are much better for you anyway and they taste great.  I like the chocolate popsicles.

Cheers!

Hey Mercy.... How are you feeling today? You must be enjoying peace of mind free from the tug of anxiety that comes with nicotine addiction. I couldn't be happier for you. Keep on keeping on!

Hi Jerthie and everyone,

It is getting better every day without smoking. The physical craving is one battle for me, but my mental addiction is the hardest. My mind plays the worst tricks on me that go on for months. My brain tells me I can have just one, I can control it, I can sneak one, or it will be different this time and EVERY time I fall in the trap.

I am fighting harder this quit. I can't say there hasn't been rough times like that, but I made it out...so far. One day at a time.

Sounds good Mercy. You are much stronger than I. You have really got it under your belt this time. Stay with it. One day at a time like you say. May the Lord bless and keep you.

Congratulations Mercy, seven weeks is no mean feat.

My addiction got the better of me after 6 weeks, I have been three weeks under the demon's spell, and now emerge ready to fight again.

May God bless you and keep you the whole day through

Hi,

I hope you have made it back. I want to keep in touch either way. Please put down the smokes. It feels good to smoke again after we go back but then it just sux, and we are stuck...again. I am trying to remember this myself. LOL It is so hard.

Thanks for responding Mercy,

I am travelling across Australia as we speak, My internet might drop out from time to time but I will endeavour to post often.

Great work on your quit, I am envious, Just as you say it is so easy to pick up a cigarette, especially when your partner smokes!

I am trying to keep my mind busy, and divert my attention away from those feelings. What I find helpful is my photography, and maintaining my Motor Home in which we are travelling along with Charlie our pet Poodle, we go for walks regularly Charlie and I.

I've been away so long you will have to refresh me on your Bio. Great work, loving your posts, keep in touch

Kind regards

Jatchat
