Morning Kitty.  Hope your packing is over soon.

Working on the power steering leak on my Subaru Baja I got back in 07.  Had to cut the leaky oil line to try to get a wrench or socket on it to remove it.  Have to cut it closer to the fitting for a second cut.  The Dremel I'm using to make the cuts stopped working so had to bring that in the house and fix it.  One of the brushes for it's electric motor had stopped pressing, so got it working again.

Rained a lot here for 2 days so I can't move the tractor until the ground dries, would make a huge muddy mess.  We got that tropical storm that came up the coast, then a front from the west.

Stay cool and hope you enjoy finishing up the packing.

Morning Kitty.  A great morning to be alive.  Daughter and grands came over last night for pizza and swimming.  Always love seeing them and their new dog.

Started the work on the Subaru.  The oil leak was a line on the rack and pinion steering.  Got it off the car but I can't buy one without buying the complete rack and pinion unit.  So I have to go to the junk yard today and look for one.  Has to be a car with the engine out to get the line out without cutting it.

Has rained hard here 3 days in a row.  Won't be able to move the tractor for 2 or 3 dry days, maybe more.

This week is my blood test and the follow up appt.  What I've been working on for 6 months.  If the dr doesn't start dropping some of these meds, I will have to do it on my own.  I have many prescriptions and don't believe any are good for me.

Have a great day Kitty.  Cool down here, don't get out of the 70s today.

Good morning, Miss Kitty and Ernie and Cheri and those who may stop by our way ~

Sitting on the patio this a.m. with Finn watching the morning and life begin.  Today, Jim and I celebrate our first year wedding anniversary.  It's amazing that it has been so wonderful and that time has passed so quickly.  We will take a overnight trip to a surprise destination later this week.

My perennials are in full bloom (which means that it is as good as it will get).  I've had fairly good luck with scattered hollyhock seeds and plants now in various shades of pink.  So, as I look around, I see daisies, brown eyed Susan's, pink hollyhocks, purple loosestrife, knock out roses in rose and pink, basil, cilantro, thyme and feverfew.   It makes me happy!  I recently purchased coreopsis and a pink coneflower plant but they grace the walkway in front.  Just speaking of them all reminds me that I must water them this morning.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful summer ~ Kitty, you are still getting things together.  Ernie, working on your various projects.  We did manage to cancel our flights to Denver in September.  Jim and I do not feel comfortable until a vaccination is here!  A credit looms with Frontier and United for a two year period of time ~ hopefully airlines will still be around!

Enjoy the week and the summer weather.  Hugs,  Susan

Morning Kitty.  60 here this morning so cooler than lately.  Supposed to rain here again today, might miss us.

Glad the packing is going well, only a week and a half left on the island, right?

Found a similar piece of steering tubing from a different year and modified it to work.  Was difficult to get it installed but hope it doesn't leak.  I'm letting the sealant set so not putting oil in the system until today.

Have to take care of daughter's garbage and ours today.  Think my meds are ready to be picked up also, takes a few days to get them ordered and get approvals for the ones that refills have run out.  We will probably stop at Lowes and get some drain pipes for the drainage ditches I dug.

Have a great day Kitty.

Morning Susan.  Glad you, Finn, and Jim are all doing well.  My wife has flowers all around the pool she is always taking care of.

Last time I flew was in 2012 to a training course In Missouri.  My wife hasn't flown since 1975 when we went into the Army.

Hope I've stopped the oil leak in my Subaru.  My wife's car goes in for a new transfer clutch later this week, on warranty.

Have a great day.
