Thank you , Marge, it feels absolutely wonderful. Never want to go back to the addiction again.

Hi ! Yes, it is getting much easier and love the freedom that I now feel. How about you ? How long have you been free of this addiction ?

I quit January 1, 2020. I started to feel real freedom from cravings and urges etc. just this month. I trust it will get better and better.

Good for you !! I also started feeling more comfortable in my quit at 6 months and each month gets better and better. I think it will continue to get better the farther we go. I never want to go back to the slavery of smoking again. Wishing you all the best and congratulations on 6 months free.

Hi I think you are doing so well and it’s great to be feeling a lot more healthier too.
I think from time to time we all get those thoughts about smoking, but the most important thing is exactly what you said-that you would never act on them.
I’m good thanks, I am back at school working with a small number of children. I am so looking forward to better days ahead xx

Hi James
well don’t to you for resisting the urge to buy cigarettes while you were parking your car. Just think how much you would have regretted it.
We are definitely experiencing some difficult times but smoking won’t change them for the better.
Stay strong and stay safe!!

Hi Brenda, you are so right!! One thing that is certain in these uncertain times-smoking will not ever make us feel better or change anything.
We had a couple of friends over at the weekend and we were sitting apart from each other in the garden. They both smoke, as does my husband and when they were having a cigarette I did get a feeling like I was missing out. Thankfully that thought didn’t stay with me and they both said that they thought it was great that I had stopped. They both said that they had both stopped a while ago and then had started again, wishing that they hadn’t.
Double digits will be here very soon yay!!!
Stay safe xxx

Congratulations to all on 10 months free. I am so proud of us all. I hope all of you are well, safe, happy and healthy. Onward to 11.....

Hi my friend,
You are doing awesome! Only a couple more steps until the big house!

That is so great! Congratulations and well done!!! I am only 6 months but I am so happy to be on this quit journey. I have no NRT's or slips or lapses or even sorrow or depression. I don't miss smoking at all. I do hear though that the 8 to 11 months can be quit challenging. Have you found this to be true? Sometimes I thing that my quit journey is far too simple and maybe there is a cliff waiting for me. Would love to hear your input on your journey at this time.
Congrats and keep on keepin on, as they say.
Cheers
