I'm sure things will look very, very different in 363.25 days. ;) Not quite 45 hours into nicotine withdrawal, it looks...unproductive. I've worked about 3 hours (freelance) in the last two days.
Think there's /anyone/ else on here who's dropping the nicotine before the smoking?
No foolin', I'm half convinced y'all will kick me off or at least ridicule me if you know I haven't actually quit smoking. Dangit, though, if I'm gonna feel like this, I'm gonna count it.
So I'm 44.75 hours free. Here goes nothin'.

Hi Dee,
Back again for another try at quitting, there is one huge major advantage in this quit over all others, my partner has quit also after a hospital scare/visit on Tuesday night so we are dueling banjos so to speak. No cigarettes in the house, no easy temptations lurking around the corner. I want to wish all quitters the utmost in success, remembering patience in the process, this is not an event.
Kind regards
Anthony
One day, 6 hours, 7 minutes and 50 seconds. 26 cigarettes not smoked, saving $28.92. Life saved: 2 hours, 10 minutes.

Day 3. The best part of this journey is that I already feel I have more self-respect.

I did that. I used the vape for a while. Got allergic to the juice. Switched to VG juice - found out that’s not good for baby. Switched to no nicotine juice - made me itchy. Finally gave up everything. Now I’m free. You got this! xoxo - whatever it takes!

Oh, and also, I have not been too productive either - just trying to make it thru...

Thanks, Michaela. I was just reading up on my condition (*I think).
"However, the re-population of cilia doesn't mean that symptoms will immediately disappear. In fact, it can lead to the development of a new cough in the months following cessation. While distressing, this symptom is perfectly normal. As the cilia start pushing toxins out of the airways, the accumulation can trigger coughing spasms as they are expelled from the lungs. In most cases, the coughing will start to subside by the end of the second or third month."
Maybe I have "new cough"? I have been coughing up phlegm.

Way to go, Alex ! You had a special day with your daughter, pampered yourself and achieved victory another day. A win-win day even being under the weather.
