I won’t lie, it’s been challenging for me the last few days! The junkie thinking came back, just when I thought I’d gotten over it. That old “lets just buy a pack and go to that park where no one will know” voice that used to win every time I’ve quit before. But I’m saying shut up to that thinking, over and over, lol.
We won’t be fooled again, right? How are you doing, Brenda?

Someone else on here mentioned him so I checked him out. I found him a bit boring, but then again I have trouble concentrating even after almost 4 months quit. The best info I've read has been on www.theverywellmind website and on this forum. I also read Allen Carr's book. You can gather helpful info from all of them, but not all of them work for everyone. Just check out everything that you can find and use what works for you. Good Luck!

Brenda, you're the best. Thank you so much for calling us out.
Still smoke free, just kinda busy now that I can actually get anything done (save this morning apparently). I have been lurking almost every day. Got this new tool called neurosculpting -- can't link to it of course because they sell things, but it's easy to Google-- that I think will really help rearrange the old habits.

Hi Owen
I read Allen Carr’s Easyway book and find it is my main aid for stopping smoking. I have also watched Chris Skoyles video’s and I found them very interesting. He has made so many of them and I have watched most of them, but well worth checking out the titles to find one which you can identify with.
I live in the Uk and like his voice and he is very down to earth so I relate well to him. There are probably lots of videos from lots of other people and it’s probably worth looking and finding that connection.
I hope you are well
Linda

thanks Linda, I have also read Allen Carr's book twice, and also use it as my main aid as well, I draw on what I read in it very often during My quit. Skoyles is new to me and I am going to check out more of his vids. when I get a chance. Hope you are doing well and staying strong !

I hope you had a real nice time with your sister. I am doing good, still hanging in there. 2 months is coming up soon for you. Any plans for treating yourself ?
