Thanks. I know, it's almost a week. I do feel occasional joy for not smoking and not doing all the stupid things that come along that. I'm glad and worried at the same time if being honest. Glad for almost a week without and worried about the future and potential relapse.

I'm from Ljubljana, Slovenia. Very tiny country near Italy Where are you from? I mean from which city in west coast?

I’m in Portland, Oregon. It’s about to go into our rainy season here in a month or so. I’m not looking forward to it this year. I’ve been quit since February but the season changes have brought new challenges.
Well, don’t look too far ahead and worry about it. Try to stay in the moment you are in and just enjoy where you are! Who knows what tomorrow brings. So much we can’t control in the world and such. It is good to embrace the things we can control, like not smoking. Let it be an empowering thing and not dreadful. Like everyone says, it will get better and less on your mind as time goes. The time will go by either way. Why start back up and then just wish you were where you are now?
You can do this, and soon, you will feel more confident. Actually each time you don’t give in you are gaining confidence. Soon you will see! Believe in yourself as you are stronger than you know.

It's a rainy season here as well. It has an impact doesn't it?

I know, one day at a time. Beside all those worries, I'm really glad I took this path. All the past quits were perhaps interlude, something to learn from. I'll try to rehearse more positive attitude towards quitting as it truly is so. That was one of the biggest spots left on my life and I am really glad to overcome that as well.

Thanks again for encouragement, wish you all the best on your journey wink

Good Morning Jaka,

Not really sure if easier using NRTs, still have to deal with the mind games from the Nicodemon trying to lure me back. But I guess it is still easier. But some people who don’t use anything seem to recover quicker. Honestly this is a personal choice for everyone, not wrong way......just as long as you stick with it!

Yes I’m in USA....east coast, Philadelphia Pennsylvania area. Lore is a night owl.....I’m usually in bed at 9:30-10pm eastern. I end up sleeping through her musings......lol.

Absolutely I posted a lot........no wrong answer on that either. When I was going through the really rough stuff, I was on lockdown......so out of necessity or boredom......everyone was posting a lot....lol!

So another day under your belt......FANTASTIC. Check out the Nope pledge under general chitchat!

Have a great day!

Great smile At least it was good for something  - I mean lock down. But it's true. It really helps to write and to talk about it. It's like losing some of the burden.

Sure, I'll check the pledge. And a great day to you as well

Honestly I was SO extremely exhausted during the lockdown, that I was actually Happy that I was home. I was definitely one of the lucky ones. I was home getting paid.  So took that time to heal. Pretty much over came all my home triggers, but when back to work, triggers started happening again. Lol. Post away. It’s the best way to learn/ support  and to gain perspective!

Have a fantastic day!
