Walgreens recalls Disney Winnie the Pooh rattles due to choking hazard
— Walgreens is recalling a popular baby rattle set, citing choking hazards.
The Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmacy chain issued the recall Wednesday affecting 54,000 Disney Winnie the Pooh rattle sets because the character’s feet can detach, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The sets, sold at Walgreens stores nationwide from September 2019 through January 2020 for about $10 each, include three rattles and are marked for ages 3 months and older.
Although the company has confirmed eight reports of detaching feet, no injuries have been reported, the recall notice stated.
