Shoebat has claimed that he used to be a Palestinian Liberation Organization terrorist in a CNN television interview.

Why would we believe anyone beaten from his home and forced from his homeland?

He's converted to supporting the terrorists who did this to him?

March 30, 2008 "The Palestinian 'terrorist' turned Zionist". Jerusalem Post. http://www.jpost.com/Home/Article.aspx?id=96502

And you're stupid enough to believe him and not recognise the ridiculous nature of the propaganda he's now forced to spout?

Walid Shoebat was born in Bethlehem of Judea, Israel.

Why I Left Jihad: The Root of Terrorism and the Return of Radical,

Islam Hardcover – Unabridged, May 30, 2005

A fascinating and scholarly work, this book is based on ten years of research and intense study. It turns the spotlight on traditional Christian interpretation of Israel's position in the biblical prophecies through textual and historical accuracy; it shows how radical Islam fits the description of the End-Times threat.

He makes claims about his background that cannot be checked.

The likelihood is that he was a collaborator with the occupation forces, spying on other Palestinians and got lucky to escape the concentration camp.

Clever guy, maybe a good theologian. But totally unreliable on his personal history.
