Some political commentators criticized Trudeau’s decision to make his speech at the same time as Scheer, saying that he shut out the Conservatives after a particularly nasty election campaign.

Liberal supporters have also been vocal about the loss the party now faces with Ralph Goodale losing his seat in Regina-Wascana.

'NO CLASS': Trudeau faces heat for interrupting Scheer's concession speech.

unamused

In an unprecedented moment, the Canadian election ended just as the English debate had gone a few weeks earlier – with the political leaders still trying to talk over each other.

Early Tuesday morning, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh were all giving their closing speeches at the exact same time, forcing broadcasters across the country to choose one speech over the others.

Singh had spoken for several minutes in Burnaby, B.C. before Scheer hit the stage in Regina, Sask. But just as Scheer began speaking, Trudeau was walking up on stage in Montreal. Typically the victor – in this case Trudeau – is the last person to speak on an election night, waiting for the defeated parties to first give their concession speeches.

In a surprising move, Justin Trudeau walked out to the podium and delivered his victory speech only a couple of minutes after his main rival started to speak. Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer was giving his opening remarks to his supporters in Regina when Trudeau suddenly stole the spotlight. The TV networks switched to Trudeau in Montreal, preventing Scheer from speaking to a national audience. Trudeau began by announcing his love for his wife and his kids. Then he praised the staff and volunteers who helped the Liberals win a minority government.

"You did it my friends, congratulations," Trudeau said.

Never had class... nether did his father...

So, after 40 days and 40 nights of raining the cat calls and dog whistles that led to a minority Liberal government, Canadians who stayed up into the early hours to listen to Justin Trudeau’s speech heard not one word of humility.

To grow up respectable children need excellent parents as role models to get hold of good manners, sympathy, modesty...  etc. … regrettably Justin was raised by nannies while his father and mother chased the spotlight to get front page exposure at the gossip magazines such as the Esquire.

Rather pointless post unless you can define and identify a liberal, and what action he is taking based on his liberalism. Why can´t you "antiliberals" come up wome documented facts, and generally accepted definitions to make your points.

Post Canadian Election confounded

Trudeau appeared to speak almost at precisely the same time as Scheer. Usually, the winner waits for all the other leaders to finish first.

Everytime something  gets banned,  no matter how silly it might be, it is done by a liberal government...

Everytime a community war initiates it evolves by liberal credo....
