On May 15th in Southern California, Taiwanese churchgoers tackled and hogtied a gunman at an Orange County church, cutting short a shooting rampage that killed one and injured five.
The suspect in the Laguna Woods church shooting has been identified as David Chou, 68 years old, of Las Vegas, NV. He has been booked on one felony count of murder and five felony counts of attempted murder.
A Larry Elder interview with John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center, reacted to the mass shooting in Buffalo and California.

Jeremy Theron Smith, 37, was arrested early Tuesday on three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to Dallas County jail records. His bond was set at $300,000. On Wednesday, four additional aggravated assault charges were added, giving Smith seven total. The four charges stemmed from the four other people inside the salon who were not injured.

2 killed, 8 wounded in mass shooting outside a Chicago McDonald's

A suspect is in custody after two people were killed and eight others wounded in a mass shooting in downtown Chicago late Thursday night.
Police said it happened just after 10:40 p.m. outside a McDonald's a few blocks from the city's Magnificent Mile shopping district. One of the eatery's windows was shattered during the shooting.

ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER SHOOTING!
Police confirmed to CBS Chicago that a suspect was in custody and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
Authorities didn't immediately release the names and ages of the victims or the conditions of the wounded, or details about the shooting. An investigation is underway.
