Yep, placed my order for the "Fire" flower with Batiks Etcetera.
When this lovely piece of fabric arrives I will pin it on my design wall and allow it to collect dust until inspiration strikes. This might take a year or two ...

I'm guessing you will not be inspired to chop it up and re-piece it, no matter how long it takes for inspiration to strike.

I have two different colorways. It's difficult to choose; they are all so gorgeous.
I've been collecting images of the different ways they have been quilted so I can have some ideas but that's as far as I've gotten
AND THEN, PIQF this year offered a *class* on quilting this panel. SIGN ME UP. This will be the first time ever (if I am remembering correctly) that I will be taking a class there. So is Judy Akers. I'm rather excited!

Absolutely! I will preserve the integrity of the piece.
Maybe I would consider very mild trapunto work ––– or not.
Or merely consider fancy trapunto-ish work around the outside in some sort of cool frame ...
Or just let it hang on the design wall until it speaks to me.

Honestly, you could absolutely do that. It simply a gorgeous print.

I think I have to go shopping for that panel.
I have no idea what I will do with it but it needs to come to my house
Check Fabric.com. They have a variety of colorways and they also have the newer Leaf Wreath design. Looks like reasonable prices too.
Eta: Sorry, I see you found one already. Wait until you see it in person!

Meeee too! I have a couple of panels I picked up at PIQF last year (or was it the year before?!?). The multi bright colorway is striking and I found a wonderful fabric that goes with it amazingly so for the backing and binding. I'm not brave enough to sew on it yet so the PIQF class this year should help a lot with ideas and my confidence!! And taking it with Shelley will be like having another instructor right next to me. AND she's gonna sleep over a night or two also so you know how much chatting will get done!!! I'm very excited!!!!

Im not sure, but thumbs might be important. Lol. The silver lining.... Toby said “clearly your not good at asking for help, so I’m going to just do everything for the 2 weeks”.

I agree. I recently saw the panels in 3 or 4 color ways. It was beautiful in its original way
