Be sure there is a recognizable piece of your ugly fat quarter in the item you make.

David did a great job on your binding holder. I roll my binding up and put it in one of those plastic containers that large spices come in. I thread the end thru the opening that and it keeps the binding from rolling all over the floor.
Glad you got your baby quilt finished. Great solution.

I hope they find the answer. Very concerning when our pets won't eat or drink!

Well. Monday I got back from "not babysitting" my DGD. All went well. I took some kits with me and managed to complete 3 quilt tops for the church charity group. Also started making the ugly fabric project for the retreat.
First day home I had a Dr. appt. Scheduled for cortisone in my R shoulder on the 15th. If that doesn't help we will worry about the neck.
Yesterday was Bob's birthday. Now we are the same age for 1 month and 8 days. I need to enjoy that.
Finally got to the forum today. 98 messages waiting on this thread. Glad to be back. No more travel planned for this Fall except a quilt retreat later this month. I want to stay home.
With thanks to DH for holding these up, here are the quilt tops I finished. Simple, nothing fancy or difficult. Carolyn gave me the blocks for the blue one. They were swap blocks among her quilting group in Kansas.

Is your hubby on business, or a short term missionary trip?
Just wondering. I have several friends that do the short term missionary things all the time.

I thought I was done with the afib too. I was really upset about the whole thing. I was laying in bed listening to my audiobook and just as we got to the "steamy" part, I noticed my rapid heartbeat. I got up and did the ECG on my watch and it said: "Hey girl, you are in afib, better call the doctor." They were able to slow it down in the ER and I went home at about 2 am. I never was scared, just bummed out about the whole thing I felt bad that the kids had to stay up so late and go to work the next day.
I saw my cardiologist yesterday and he has put me back on amiodarone, 400mg daily. I asked if it was forever and he said: "until something better comes along." ::sigh::
