I've hesitated to say this until now, but I'm feeling kind of stressed, and think I could use some prayers. A few weeks ago, during Rick's routine doctor appointment, they noticed a heart murmur. They sent him for an eccocardiogram and diagnosed him with severe aortic stenosis. His appointment with a cardiologist is finally approaching - this Thursday. I'll be the first to admit I'm a worry wart. Plus I know so little about this, just a few things I read on the internet (which they say not to do), so your prayers and also info would be greatly appreciated.

My brother in law had this and had a valve replacement. He is doing just fine now. I could be wrong but I think this is what Cathy had too. I know how you worry so I'm offering up prayers for you and Rick.

Thanks Mel.
I tried to get some guidance from our primary after the initial report came in last month but was only told to wait for the cardiology appointment (4 weeks out). Not helpful. We decided on adding baby asperin, switching from jogging to walking, and watching his diet. You've probably come across this - do you think he should be doing anything else right now?
