Oh my goodness, Carolyn.  Praise the Lord that the small accidental discovery happened!  You'll be in good hands with Cathy.

Quilters are just the best people.  I remember how Nyla dropped everything to go to California to take care of Denise when she had her leg surgery.  Nyla told me that if it wasn't for her health problems she would have come to help me (and I know she absolutely would have.)  Ellen helped drive me and my dogs to Kansas when I moved back here. Patty came up from Oklahoma to unpack my sewing room when I first started having back problems, and I barely knew her from the retreat.   I have made lifelong friends in my online quilting family.  When I started looking for a quilting online forum I didn't know any of ya'll.  Of course, I have plenty of family here but they all have jobs and it takes a tremendous load off of them for me to have help.

Prayers for you Carolyn. Yes you are blessed to have Cathy as a friend to come and help you recover.

So sorry to hear that. Scary, I know. But you seem to have a hold on things, so just take a deep breath every once in a while. We will keep you in our prayers every day. (())

Totally unrelated to quilting, but our youngest DD is a bridesmaid to a good friend, whose wedding is **this weekend**.   The friend had her wedding dress fitted but the shop TOOK IT IN instead of letting it out and now, of course, the dress DOES NOT FIT at all.  The bride is in full-blown panic mode.

DD is frantically looking at links for dresses that can be in their possession, like, yesterday.  I assume the bride is also frantically looking at off the rack dresses.

Of all the horrible things that could happen to wedding planning, this has got to rank up there as one of the worst.  :-(
