Such good news.  Thanks for the update Patty.

We didn't get to leave the hospital until a little after 5 pm.  I was running a low-grade fever and was afraid I would stay another day.  They took my temperature in my ear with that thing they use on your forehead.  My nurse finally figured out that it was because my hearing aid was keeping my ear warmer.  I had to pull it off and let it cool before we got a real reading.  Thank God Cathy is here because I don't think I could have taken care of myself without her.  My family wouldn't have been able to help because Sammy got pinned (full-fledged nurse) on Thursday night and last night was the graduation from Butler Community College for Sammy and Courtney is graduating tonight with a business/education degree from Emporia State University.

I'm so glad you were able to come home.  Now you'll get some personal, loving care from Cathy.  I hope you heal up really fast.  You are in my prayers.

Kind of funny about the hearing aides causing a false temp reading.

Two graduations in your family - what an accomplishment.

I'm so happy that you have returned home!   Honestly, a hospital is no place to be... it's full of sick people!

Your recovery will be so much better in your own house, with Cathy.

Any more news on Carolyn?  I'm hoping she's doing well on her recovery.  Any updates?  I love that you keep us posted - thank you.

I bet you're extra busy this time of year.  I always enjoy hearing about the new chicks, lambs, bees, etc. and of course all of your travels too.  And you still find time to sew - amazing.
