And exciting, she has two interviews tomorrow in Arlington (part of DFW metroplex).
That is exciting! Praying she does well at her interviews today. Let us know!!

Well one of them was just a short phone interview with HR - setting up a zoom next week with the clinic director. The in person interview actually made her an offer that she is considering - supposed to send her an officer letter next week. She's also been contacted by another pediatric clinic in Waco that sounds very interesting. She was SOOOO worried about finding a job, worried if she should renew her lease, wait until after she passes the certification before applying, worried about the timing. Now her worries have changed to what if I accept something now but find something better in a few weeks. Shaking my head - she likes to worry. But now at least it definitely looks like she's leaving Abilene, so she can start packing, bringing "stuff" back here as her lease is up end of August but she doesn't take the test until September. And we need to get space cleared to store her stuff for a few weeks - or maybe she'll have a place by then. lots of changes coming

And who did she inherit the worrying gene from? LOL
Our DD moved home from her job in Washington DC about twenty years ago not knowing how long it would take her to find a new job in Ohio but life in the DC area just got to be too stressful. Thing was her grandpa was making plans to move to Ohio at the same time and was on a waiting list for a nearby senior center.
I was on the verge of having my DD and my DF living with DH and me at the same time.
You've been to my house. You know how (1) we do have the space but (2) it would have been mighty "cozy" to have everyone living here at the same time. LOL
We lucked out DD found a job in Columbus within six weeks and found an apartment right away. She moved out ten days before her grandpa's moving truck pulled into our driveway. My DF lived with us for four months before there was a vacancy at the senior center.
The women at our office joked about Judy's revolving door. Our washing machine and dryer wondered what hit them.

Oh my! I hope she was encouraged at the responses she received today. Employers recognize her skills and abilities in her chosen field and she has options! So often hard working students are worried they put so much into their schooling and training and then nobody offers them a job. I'll be praying she chooses the right one for her! And to not worry through to the end!

um, actually compared to DD & DH, I'm a lightweight - seriously. Of course maybe I've gotten less so after dealing with them and their "worst case" worries. I think I've told her 3 or 4 times just pay the rent month to month - or put her stuff in storage & come home until she knows where she's going. So she's out some $$, it's not like she's going to be homeless on the street or starve - we'll always help her if it's necessary. It is very gratifying for her self-esteem to have a good response from the interviews. She was "worried" that she'd spend this time & $$$$$ and not be able to find a job. But it's looking like there is a definite demand even with the dicey health care situation.
