Donna,
Wonderful quilts and adorable helper. The thought of doing all that applique frightens me. <G>
Welcome!

Welcome to the forum. Adorable DGD, enjoy her now as much as you can and don't blink because she will be a teenager involved in to many things to be able to fit you into her schedule without weeks of planning ahead of time.
i like your wall hanging.

Welcome to the forum. We love new members. Be sure to keep posting pictures of your efforts. We love that! Doesn't sound like you are a new quilter, just new to the forum. We hope you will post often.

Donna-- I just replied to you in another thread but welcome again! You sure have been working on some beautiful quilts! Your little DGD (darling granddaughter- we like to abbreviate here) is a sweetie. What fun making quilts and memories with grandma. And if you have lots of UFOs, you are right in there with the rest of us. I believe we all have plenty of those!

Yes, guilty as charged.
ETA: The original idea I was working on as a quilt for my first great-grandchild has been declared an official big-time mistake because I wrecked my left shoulder while shoving it under the needle of Cecil Faye. My shoulder was too old for the technique.
My plan is to offer this thing to Other Daughter when I see her at Christmas time but if she is not interested, then out it goes. She was recently rear-ended while sitting in her van (idling at a stop sign) so she probably won't want it.
I don't like to be reminded of mistakes/disasters/bad choices so I don't keep unfinished projects (aka UFOs) hanging around.

Hi Donna! Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing photos of your projects and your darling granddaughter. We look forward to seeing you here often.

You wouldn't just pitch it in the trash, would you, Judy? I know you want it out of your sight, but maybe someone else would take it and complete it? Someone with a healthier left shoulder ...
