Pirate,

Thanks for the welcome. It is too easy to get out of a routine. I'm glad to be here again. I have been doing Project Linus quilts for a number of years and during this quarantine year it has helped keep me sane.  I also enjoy watching the videos that Alex Anderson has been posting this past year from her home. I have worked on several of her projects. If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will send some.

take care and stay safe.

Welcome back NanaSuz!

I am at camp for another day.  About a year ago I made up this quilt kit panel from The Hungry Caterpillar book.

I used up scraps from this Eric Carle top to make this backing!  I am giving this to my eldest son to have for his preschool or kindergarten classroom one of these days!

When you want to post to somebody click on the reply and up comes the space where you type in and up above you on the left hand side there are maybe one two three four five little objects the last one is a pin click or a paper clip see what the second one says from the left and if it says from your camera or from your website that's the one that you click on from your camera and the picture should come up whichever one you want to set that's how mine is I don't know how yours is but see if that is how yours is

I just did a quick little charity quilt for the guild.  They had a pile of 4.5” flannel strips, and on pinterest, I found a pattern from JoAnns called Spin Me Round.

here it is....

it is about a 46” square.

Thank you!  This is fun sharing ideas back and forth.  I don't remember the name of it, but here is one of your inspirations but in 30s prints.

You really need to stop sharing things that I want to try!.  I don't have the will power  to finish what I'm on before trying something new.  I have several  layer cakes that I didn't know what to do with. Also, it is a rather forgiving pattern so that if you didn't get the sides lined up perfectly you could use a 9 .5 inch ruler to trim them all up.  I think I remember Dee making one called chopsticks  quite some time ago.

That is a great design.  What a cool way to use some strips.

I really need to dig into my scrap bins as well. My focus has bee quilting so I am quilting tops and not generating tops right now. I have a bin with 11 tops ready to go and then about 5 more tops I need to piece backs for.
