Both tops are stunning! Good job. I love red, white and blue scrappy quilts, but they aren't always easy to do. Not all blues play together well and the same thing for reds. I don't like mixing fire engine red with crimson red, if that makes any sense.

Oh dark thirty and I am waiting to board a plane to San Diego. Too early to think about working on my quilting projects but they are with me.

Nice to finish them, isn't it? That's what I have been working on. Getting them all the way to binding done.
The Crisis nursery should love them.

Love "Summer at the Beach". Those baby quilts won't take long to finish. Go ahead and get them ready for your Crisis Nursery delivery.

Gibson's! I get jealous every time you mention it. You are lucky to live so close. Heee!

I do appreciate Gibsons. though their prices have gone up also. Still less than LQS, but not as great a deal as it used to be.

That's going to be beautiful. You are so good. I took handwork with me to Cabo and didn't touch it.

In the interest of finishing up an OLD ufo, I started quilting this mantle quilt last night. Boy, the magnetic channel locks sure made it a breeze. Now to decide on the quilting over the bargello. I know Ami suggested feather but just not sure I'm up to feathers. I think I may do ivy leaves instead in a gray monopoly so they won't show much.

Nope Ami is the one that suggested the arcs. Suze was the one that suggested feathers. Have to say the arcs you did look perfect!!!
