Glad that the girls are making progress.  Good support is important, both physical and emotional.  Glad they have the support they need.  Can't imagine not being able to drive for that length of time.  That would test my patience

Waaaay back in 2021 (Sept, to be exact), I started an EPP project, Forget Me Not by Sue Daly.  Sue started this project as a BOM in August 2015, directions for which were posted on Sue Daly's blog.   Those direction are STILL publicly available.  (https://www.suedaleyblog.com/forget-me-not-sew-along/)

The BOM was long finished by the time I found it but since all the directions were still online, I was able to (eventually) complete the project.  I am now VERY HAPPY to say that as of February 2023, I have FINISHED the top.  woo hoo!

I did change up Sue's project by adding borders onto mine so that it was larger.  I added a paper-pieced diamond border and an outer slab-o-border onto which I appliqued vines, flowers and hearts.  My project is 82" square.

To clarify matters, Sue Daly's project is *just* the interior English Paper Pieced medallion.  I added on the borders.

I am so happy to finally get this one done.  It's been in the final stages of being completed for a very long time.

That is just amazing! Love the addition of the applique border

latest I spy.  I knew I couldn't work on this one at the retreat so it was a good one to keep me busy.  Putting it together without turning the pieces wrong was a challenge.  I used a flannel covered foam board to carry small sections to my machine to stitch.  And I still turned a couple of triangles wrong and had to restitch.  I'm going to wait to quilt it & look at it again in a few weeks to make sure I didn't miss any others.   I asked my husband to help but he said it made his eyes hurt to even look at it - haha.

That is a fantastic and very unusual layout for an I-Spy!  Love the colors!

The center of this quilt is beautiful but you have certainly enhanced that beauty.  Congrats on a finished UFO top.
