Suze (casuzenn) said:I got some info about the collage technique that QuiltMama does - she can take up to 8 students at a time
I might be interested, but I would like to see some examples of what she would be teaching. I’ve looked through her Facebook page but see mostly other things. And her website doesn’t seem to load very well on my phone, some pages come up blank.

I invited you to her art page...https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10157152686482220&id=335608752219¬if_id=1582031886653413¬if_t=comment_mention.... shows some of the collage work...she uses clear acrylic medium to stick paper or fabric down...looks pretty neat!

Well all, I am finally home and unpacked!! Got home from Denver Wed night, crashed and unpacked and washed clothes Thursday. Some snow when I left Denver, so had to get the plane de-iced before takeoff, but no real problems. My friend and I enjoyed the citrus fruit I hauled out-thanks to all who brought them to share!! Even saved some to bring home to Oklahoma. Sent a flat rate box home from Denver, cause there were two wool coats I had bought Last year and left there, but ended up suitcases weighed 40 and 45, but there was more bulk, so it worked out!!
I wanted to again thank all the hostesses and my secret sister for the great retreat!! It was awesome!! The hostesses always work so hard and I appreciate their efforts! And Yetta survived being my roommate, I didn't even terrorize her with the trolls!! Was really good to visit with everyone!!
How long until next retreat-LOL!!

Kim: Wanted to thank you again for letting me use your featherweight, but it was so weird that the plug wouldn't come out of the socket of the lamp base. I'm sorry!! But you said you don't use it much, so if you can do without it till next retreat, bring it back for me and I will research how to fix the plug and bring the stuff to fix it. I don't think it will be hard, but didn't get it done the night before leaving! But promise- I will get it fixed for you!! So don't give up on me!! I love your little machine-
- and you for lending it to me!!

Sorry I haven't been here since the retreat. Went to ER Sunday late afternoon. All is well, no fracture or other problem. Just the rug burn on my forehead and nose and big bruise on my left knee. Lucky!
Monday was laundry and packing to go to Las Vegas for my brothers funeral and celebration of life. Not a happy time but it was nice to see some family I hadn't seen in a while.
We got home yesterday too tired to do anything. Finally got the sewing stuff unpacked today. Shower and dentist next.
More on retreat later. I just finished about 250 posts. Keep up the chatter. Carolyn, is it time time put this thread to bed for this year?
