Yea, i got home from Texas and hubby just asked me if I was going to Prescott.  I  hadn't planned on it, but thought...hum...well, hell, I'll go!!  The 10 day weather forecast in new Mexico and AZ was a lie, but I managed to dodge the worst of the weather.  Stopped in Gallup the first night in snow, then hairy till I got to AZ line, then decent till Flag.  Then on the way back dodged the snow and got to Estancia, when the snow came and I waited it out at Pat's house, then came home!!  Son Kelly had a time getting back to Vegas, snowy till he got to Kingman, then he was OK.

It was a fun time, got to see some relatives I hadn't seen in forever, glad I went!

Fought a head wind going out and got 21 miles to the gallon.  Had the same wind going back, but this time in my favor and got 33 miles to the gallon.

Yes, it can!  I have spent 9 hours sitting on I 40 in the snow before.

I have an odd question:  can I cut the pieces for this block with one of my accuquilt cubes?  I need practice with the beast and am thinking……. Kill two birds with one stone. If I can - any clues on due sizes?  I’m a novice with the thing

LeeAnn, you can cut it with the Accuquilt does if youhave the right sizes…. If you have the 12” cube box, you should be able to find the sizes easy!  If not, you may need to check for the sizes you need.
