learned a tip this morning - for those of you that use prepared freezer paper   General Discussion

this definitely falls in the Duh moment category.  You know how you usually need to iron two pieces of freezer paper together to make it thick enough for prepared edge applique.  Rather than ironing it to your ironing board, iron it to a teflon sheet.  That way you don't lose any of the sticky-ness.

Ah! thanks, says me who bought a huge roll of it recently!

I am a huge fan of freezer paper and all its uses for quilting. Thanks for another great tip!
