Lol yes you do, and I appreciate it. I HATE sitting and that’s all I can do, no bending, no lifting and no twisting, no driving. Ughhh

Wow, it’s wonderful that you were able to be there for both of them. Such serious issues.
prayers for all.

Wow. I’m sorry to read all this. But sounds like your girls are troopers.  They are so very fortunate to have you! Now, take some time for YOU. Enjoy the drive and retreat.

I will be bringing the crumb quilt she inspired.  Carrie just quilted it.  I'll pick it up tomorrow.  The binding is ready to go on. I should also bring my unfinished stack 'n whack.   Will also have the log cabin wall hanging.  I made the blocks and was trying to do something with them at the retreat.   Sharon walked up to the wall and shuffled them and "voila".  It's hanging in my bedroom now.  I have to remember to take it down and bring it.

My goodness!  You've been gone since just after Thanksgiving.  I'm sure it's good to be home.  Glad to hear that both girls did well.  Sometimes even adult children need their Mama.  Hopefully their recoveries will continue smoothly.  Good thing you do hand work.  Bet you took it with you.

Hand work was one of the first things I packed!  I brought 3 EPP projects.  I finished stitching the border on Inner Cube; I finished all the big blocks for Dillyflower; and started (and mostly finished!) on a clamshell project.

From the leftovers of the clanshell, I started another clamshell... this time, doing the assembly properly!
