Holy cow! You have had your hands full!  I'm worn out just reading what all you have been through.  I imagine you are not only physically tired, but emotionally exhausted.  Worry can take a lot out of you.  Glad to hear the girls are on the mend.

wow Shelley - SERIOUS momma time.  Definitely so glad your are heathy and able to help your girls.  Every now and then I think about the "extra mile" I've gone with my kids, but it makes me happy that I can help them and build some extra memories as adults.

Looks like she is doing well.  Her parents will be thrilled to take her home but maybe a little anxious about it too.

Oh wow you guys have been through a lot.  I am glad you were able to be there for them through that.  How did Mr pirate fair during your absence?  No one to cook for and all?

If we had a crystal ball to see the challenges of motherhood we probably would never have taken the path.  We've took the path of motherhood, due to that special love, very very few would not hesitate to say they would do it all over again.  Glad that your daughters felt / knew they could call upon you for your assistance.  Hoping you are giving yourself a little extra care these days.  Will try to remember to pray for your daughters healing.

I am so proud of both of your DDs.  Just like their Mama they each have dealt with their realities and done what they've needed to do.  I am so very glad for you and Mr. P they each have a solid support systems and guys in their lives that have really stepped up to take good care of them.  What a blessing for you two being a long distance from each one.  Do keep us all updated as to how they each are doing!

well Zownds!!! Flibberty blank and zoink!

The foot on the Bernina is busted!

I was working along on my door hanger and went to sew another seam, stepped on the gas and...de nada, zip, nothing.

I took it appart to see if I could repair it, but there is a wee plastic join has given up the ghost...It's fatal...

Ordered a new one from Amazon.  It's supposed to be here on Monday.  Hope the new one lasts for a while!

Just glad it didn't happen at Retreat...that would suck.
