well named quilt - hot flashes   General Discussion

Started Feb-8 by Dee in TX (DBRADFOR3); 554 views.

I recently saw this pattern on FB & love it.  The design by cozy quilt designs is called Hot Flashes - hahaha.  I got the electronic version from Jordan fabrics, sometimes I'll purchase a pattern even when relatively easy to figure out just because I want to support the designer.  I love the secondary design of the arrow in this.  Donna Jordan did another version with pink grunge instead of white in her video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj0OVIf0BNM&t=2s

Accuquilt came out with a LLama die.  Made me think of you and your daughter.

That's like one of those designs like Freddy Moran used to promote .... the "sparkle" that black and white adds to bright colors is just perfect.

That pattern (and your quilt) is certainly striking and fun!

Oh that isn't my quilt, that was the example from FB.  It is just on my bucket list (always growing).

Oh boy! Another inspiration!  I watched the video and it wouldn't be that hard to do. I think I would snowball that black corner instead of putting on the triangle--I'm not that good at that.

Oh I love this one! And the pink really made it flow. It’s now on my ever growing list as well!

I thought that too -- then you would have all those cute little pink and black HSTs!

I've got a whole basket full of those bonus HSTs.  Someday I should figure out what to do with them.
