I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day weekend. Mine was wonderful and emotional. Friday and Saturday we watched one of our granddaughter's final dance competition for the season. It was beautiful and she won several awards. Then, Sunday was our grandson's high school graduation and he also received many honors. He spent a lot of time with us when he was little and it seemed like I blinked and saw him as a man. Lots of proud tears. I am so blessed..

Sounds like a wonderful weekend for you surrounded by family. One thing about little ones is they grow up so fast. You must be proud of your grandchildren.

Oh Lynne, I so understand about them being grown before you know it. I've got 3 grands - two boys, 10 and 13 and one girl, 7. They all want to be around me which in my opinion, is a miracle. I had almost no relationship with any of my grandparents, as they had so many grandchildren, it would have been impossible for them to form close relationships. It's a different world now and I'm so glad! They bring a lot of joy and happiness to my life. We had to meet during the week after a baseball game due to daughter working 3rd shift over the weekend. It was so fun. I look forward to many more years with them, as I'm sure you do as well!
