I know you guys are probably getting tired of hearing about my Christmas Frames quilt. But I did decide to enter it in another quilt show. The show wasn't as large as Dallas but still good size. And I won a blue ribbon. I have to admit, it is pretty cool to see the ribbon on it and to talk to people who were looking at it. I am very glad they have a separate "professional" or Master division. I'll do a separate post for the Best in Show, it was jaw dropping.

Why would quilters tire of seeing a beautiful quilt, especially when it comes with the makers smile due to addition of a little blue. Thanks for being brave and putting your work out for people to see. Congratulations on the blue ribbon.

Congratulations my friend!! You did your diligence and certainly perfected your applique skills with that beauty! Your blue ribbon award is certainly well earned and so deserved. I've seen you find and develop new skills through the years and have marveled at how your stitches have grown smaller and smaller. I'm so proud for you and OF you!!
PS - I showed DH your picture and he thinks black was the perfect color for the background AND he thought you looked wonderful!!!

Congratulations on another ribbon. Your shirt matches the ribbon perfectly by the way. I never tire of looking at beautiful quilts.
