I can hear the crickets chirping on the form....not sure it is working properly.
It is. Our forum chatty people aren't around. LOL!!!
You must be excited to be coming to a retreat. It has been a few years.
I've been working on the plans and samples for the 2 groups I lead at Palo Verde Patchers (my local quilting club). We're going to be making Baltimore Album (BA) quilts this coming year. In one group it will be in wool and in the other group it will be hand embroidered. The ladies are really excited because they don't applique and never thought they'd be able to make a BA quilt. I'll bring progress to show if I make it into retreat.
Yes. It's nice to be doing adult things again. Lindzey moved about an hour away so Kingsley goes to day care now while she works. It's taken me quite awhile to get rested up. I think I'm finally starting to slowly get back in the groove of quilting - now & then.
That sounds really cool. I will look forward to seeing that.
I bet it is nice to have your time back. We love having Juniper around, but are very excited that she no longer lives with us and we have most of our time back.
Yes, it's nice, but I also have mixed emotions about it. They live just far enough away, that we don't get to see Kingsley enough, and I miss her. She always laughed so much and I miss all the laughter too. I'm keeping busy so that helps. How far away from you does Juniper live?
