Mishii said:I finished quilting the quilt that was on the frame and started binding. Today I can't walk because my feet hurt so badly. I think I"m going to have to give up and have surgery, but I really really really don't wanna.
oh my...so sorry...feeties are important though...what kind of surgery would you have to get?
do you have gel pads under your quilting machine? can you get one of those saddle seats that rolls to help take the pressure off your feet? or maybe convert to a sit down table??

yup...
in my younger days I did this one...but I did it by hand (yes you can paper piece by hand...) ...Don't think I would tackle it now though!! This was made using the 'Sponge Bob on Crack' Ugly Fabric...

My surgery is Sept. 10. And yes, DGS is a ball of energy! I can't wait to see him!

I like your mini quilt but I can tell I wouldn't have the patience or dexterity to try it.

Suze, that is lovely!! What are the dimensions on this piece that made the hideous Sponge Bob fabric disappear?

Oh, I've made two of those! They are just so delightful! You have complete control over whether you want to mix, match, coordinate any and all of the fabrics used, as well as the color of the zippers!
I remember when I first "discovered" the pattern there were two versions and there was a HUGE hullabaloo over adherents to one version or the other. As I remember, the two patterns were darn near identical. There were accusations of plagiarism, cheating, and downright nastiness. It was all very entertaining when one was looking from afar.

OOOOHhhhh, that sounds like fun ... a cat fight in the world of fabric! When was that??
