Love that.  I can identify the fabric.

Oh yes I remember it now.  I found a great tutorial for the sew together bag online.  She doesn’t violate trademark but explains it so much better than the pattern.  I love the cat fight that went on about the pattern.  Great entertainment.

Yesterday we took Carolyn to a restaurant called Bubba's in Wichita for Carolyn's Birthday which is tomorrow.  They have the best onion rings!

love seeing the pictures from your adventures!

We flew down to Albuquerque for the weekend and when we were on the park and ride bus heading to the airport terminal there was a young couple saying they were flying to Florida for a cruise..............wonder what the status of that cruise is. I did wish them luck at the end of the ride. I hope they were leaving out of the Tampa West side of Florida for their cruise and not out of Miami for a cruise of the Bahamas. Either way I cannot imagine they did not have to alter their plans.

We fly back to Denver in the morning. I am hoping to finish a dress for a wedding we are attending in Santa Barbara in a few weeks. My sewing machine is not being very nice right now (my now 20 year old Phaff) and I just want to finish the dress and then the machine will go off to the sewing machine store and hopefully they can get it working well again. I have sewn many hours on that machine.

I recognized that fabric right away! I love what you made with it. I have snuck it into most of my scrap quilts somewhere.

Today while sorting fabric in my sewing room I came across half a yard of Johnna's puffer fish with the teeth. I showed to my husband as he has not seen it before. I think the poor guy is scared for life and likely is wondering about the rest of you as well............hee hee!

Judy there is lots of space on the Sponge Fabric..............that is why I bought the 15 yards of it for a whopping $3 in the first place. I was going to use it for a pictorial Southwest landscape. I have cut pieces for tons of scrap quilts over the years. I only made one quilt where you can see the faces and it was made as a joke.

Just sayin' it makes a mighty fine throw pillow. :-)

Yeah, I have seen more than a few variations of that type of bag.  When we were at "Must Love Fabric," they had several similar samples of various kinds of bags, but I did not seriously look at any of them except the "Sew Together Bag," just because that is the one they were going to do for the class.  At one time, I watched several videos on YouTube for variations on the "Bionic Gear Bag," which is one of the ones where the front opens up and lies flat for pressing or whatever.  There is certainly no shortage of videos about BOTH bags!
