While I was at church, these two emptied out my sewing closet so I would have no choice but to clean it out.

Thanks Jo. While we never like when they have to evacuate, we always love having time with them here. They evacuated last year on September 10th and were here a whole week. I have a feeling this is going to happen at least once a year because of the continuing climate change. I really wish they would move to the mainland, out of hurricane danger!

Well, that doesn't look too bad.

Sometimes we all need a little motivation.

No. it wasn't much but she was under strict orders from Hubby not to bring ANYTHING home. Patty is not a rule follower.

Pfffft! That's just a tiny load, compared to how I've seen her load that thing up! Hah!

I'm looking forward to that too -- and being able to be flexible with plans because I don't have to be back on a certain date at a certain time JUST to go back to the office!
But of course, I am also looking forward to partying with y'all. And you know what "partying" means in that situation. (Same thing y'all have been doing all week. LOL)

This post about DJ is France made my heart sing! We used to go to Metz! It wasn't far from where we lived In Germany! I hr-20 minutes or so! Plus you mentioned the Mirabel Plum Festival...we had one in our town as well, and several Mirabel trees in the backyard--YUM! One time a year "someone from somewhere in town went around to all the houses in town collecting the fruit, and they distilled Mirabel Schnaps! Dale and I could barely choke it down as it was SO STRONG...so only one shot a year on New Years. I sure wish I still had the bottle as a collectors item!...and then....Interlaken! Be still my heart! I am so glad he is having these experiences!

I can see that Patty had her work shirt on ... "Stash Management", which is exactly what she was doing! It just wasn't *her* stash. :-)
