Suze, any update on your sister and parents? When we had active fires in our state I got my stuff together… Literally. We had found a strong box at a thrift store that I think is fire proof. We filled it with all our important papers and some cash and passports etc. I also made a list of what would need to be taken out of the house, and then organized it by priority so that we can start at the top of the list and work our way down depending on how much time we had to evacuate. I also decided which quilts I would take with us, and put some of my mom‘s jewelry and some other keepsakes into a duffel bag that I can grab quickly.

Burrr....it's cold in Arizona!  We lit a fire in the fireplace last night, curled up with a quilt and watched Mr. Mercedes on Peacock.  All we needed was hot chocolate.

I think I just joined and this is a test. Hope to get information on the retreat so that I can plan on going.
